The National Hartford Centers of Gerontological Nursing Excellence Award Program recognizes Davis for her strong plan for research in gerontological nursing and urinary incontinence and for her commitment to a career in this highly relevant field. Davis has received several awards and funding for her work, in addition to having three publications. Davis is the fourth National Hartford Centers of Gerontological Nursing Excellence Patricia G. Archbold Scholar in Georgia and the second Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing and Health Professions student to receive the prestigious award.
