Biography

Clinical Expertise
Professor Podolski has over 14 years of clinical experience in a variety of practice areas including in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation, acute care hospitals, skilled nursing rehabilitation, home health services, public school systems and early intervention.

Teaching Experience
Professor Podolski has taught at two universities including Boston University (1994-2003) where she was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy and taught courses in the Entry-level Master’s Program in the areas of:

  • Medical conditions; adult and pediatric
  • Functional movement
  • Adult Physical Dysfunction
  • Clinical skills
  • Activity analysis
  • Independent Studies in the management of pain and the role of OT working with caregivers

She was also an Instructor at University of Alabama at Birmingham in the Entry-level Master’s Program of Occupational Therapy from 2003-2007 teaching courses including:

  • Medical conditions
  • Gross Human Anatomy
  • Pharmacology in Rehabilitation
  • Therapeutic enhancement for adults
